Khalid Mukhtar
Khalid Mukhtar is the CEO of Global Academic Partners.
A banker turned entrepreneur, Khalid started working as an IT professional for Citibank in Saudi Arabia and worked for Citibank in Greece, Belgium, France, Gabon and the UK. In his last appointment, Khalid worked for Citibank’s World Wide Securities Service (WWSS) based in London and supported the Securities Custody business for Citibank branches in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He worked in Audit, Data Centre Management and Ops & Technology areas of the bank.
In 1999, Khalid started a product-based IT company based in the UK that specialises in the Securities Custody & Settlements systems. The company & its products have made a name for themselves and serve Custodian banks in a dozen countries. Khalid was inducted into the Global Custody Hall of Fame for his outstanding contributions to the securities services industry.
Khalid has a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the University of Roehampton in the UK. He has also attended several Management & Leadership courses at MIT, Sloan School of Management, the University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford, and Harvard Business School, to name a few.
Dr Kieran Mervyn
With a wealth of experience in education and healthcare collaborations, Kieran currently serves as the Director of Global Academic Partners and the CEO of the Is Mise Cara Brain Disease Foundation. In addition to these roles, he serves as a dedicated professional development coach, empowering thousands of individuals to reach their full potential worldwide.
As an educator, Kieran teaches modules including Project and Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Healthcare Systems, Leadership Development, and Mobile Information Systems at UG and postgraduate levels. His dynamic teaching approach and commitment to student success have made Kieran a respected figure in higher education circles.
Kieran is a subject matter expert for postgraduate programmes in Healthcare Innovation, Project Management, Leadership and Management. He has extensive experience in designing, developing and delivering high-level Master’s modules, creating a rigorous curriculum that equips future leaders and innovators with the skills to excel in their fields.
Kieran’s research interests include information science, healthcare networks, quality improvement collaborations and social entrepreneurship. His work focuses on strategic change management and inter-agency collaborations, reflecting a commitment to advancing the field of healthcare and education through innovative solutions and partnerships. Kieran is widely published in peer-reviewed journals including The International Journal of Leadership in Public Services, International Journal of Organisational Analysis, Information, Communication and Society, Information Technology & People and The Journal of the Association for Information Science and Technology.

Dr Angeliki Papasava
Dr. Angeliki Papasava, PhD, SFHEA, is the Program Director of Undergraduate Business Programs at American University of Greece. She holds a PhD in International Management from ISM Paris, an MBA in International Management from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Organisational Behaviour from the American College of Greece. Additionally, she has studied Economics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Angeliki is an Assistant Professor at the American College of Greece and also teaches at several universities in the UK, UAE, and France. She previously served as the Programme Director of the MSc in Engineering Management at the University of Hull. She is currently an Executive Coach at IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland, and the CEO of iLearn Global Ltd, a London-based company involved in talent development.
A Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and a member of the Chartered Management Institute, Angeliki has published extensively in both academic and professional journals. Her professional and academic experience spans over 20 years, with roles in global organizations ranging from Silicon Valley startups to prestigious academic institutions worldwide.
She is also proud to have delivered a TEDx talk in Athens in May 2025, where she explored the impact of artificial intelligence on employee wellbeing.

Dr. Nii Amoo is a highly experienced management consultant with a diverse background in academia and industry. With over fifteen years of expertise in academia, Dr. Amoo has played a pivotal role in guiding industry practitioners towards achieving academic degrees, both at the masters and doctoral levels. He has worked closely with more than 500 scholarly practitioners, assisting them in areas such as leadership, project management, strategic management, as well as primary and empirical research work.
In the realm of industry, Dr. Amoo’s experiences have been extensive, ranging from engineering to leadership coaching and encompassing general and strategic management consultancy. Moreover, he has made significant contributions in the Healthcare sector, providing valuable consultancy services in healthcare management.
Notably, Dr. Amoo is a dynamic and research-driven academic, boasting a strong publication record in esteemed international journals. He actively engages in ongoing research projects, constantly striving to uncover innovative solutions to contemporary management issues faced by organisations.

Dr Dionysia Tzavara
Dr Dionysia Tzavara is a Director at Global Academic Partners and an academic leader in higher education, online learning, and international programme leadership. She holds a PhD and MSc in Economics from the University of Surrey, a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Crete, and has completed post-doctoral research funded by the ESRC and the European Jean Monnet Fellowship programme.
She has held several senior roles, including Programme Director, Academic Director, and Director of Online Studies across master’s and doctoral portfolios in international markets. Her experience spans leading universities and online learning providers, including Brunel University, the University of London, the University of Roehampton, the University of Liverpool, Laureate Online Education, Cambridge Education Group, and FutureLearn, with expertise in programme leadership, curriculum design, academic delivery, and quality assurance across online, campus-based, and blended provision.
She has supported global student cohorts reaching thousands of students worldwide and has led large faculty teams across multiple disciplines and regions. She has delivered faculty development, driven performance review, and led programme enhancement and accreditation initiatives. Her work has included programme redesign, strategic partnership onboarding, and large-scale transition projects, with a focus on academic standards, student experience, and inclusive academic cultures.
An experienced educator, Dionysia has taught business and management subjects including leadership, sustainability, ethics, people management, and strategy. Dr Barbara Wilczek-Stronczek
Dr Barbara Wilczek-Stronczek is a director of Global Academic Partners.
Dr Barbara is an experienced online education specialist and Human Resource Management (HRM) academic with over a decade of teaching and leading programmes across major UK universities. She holds a PhD in HRM from Bournemouth University (UK) and has built a distinguished career in online higher education, combining deep subject-matter expertise with innovative digital pedagogy.
Dr Barbara has taught, designed, and led modules at postgraduate and undergraduate levels for institutions including the University of Liverpool, University of London, University of Hull, University of Portsmouth, University of Roehampton, The American University of Greece and The American College of Greece. Her portfolio spans HRM, organisational behaviour, leadership, ethics, and management, with extensive experience in dissertation supervision and in academic quality assurance, moderation, and programme leadership.
She is recognised for creating inclusive, high-performing learning environments and for mentoring diverse international student cohorts. Her expertise includes curriculum design, online programme development, academic team management, and the effective use of virtual learning environments such as Blackboard, Canvas, and Moodle. Barbara has also led academic operations, including research ethics committees, supervisor training, faculty development, and large-scale online teaching teams.
Her research interests include organisational culture, knowledge sharing, and AI governance in global corporations, and she has published in respected journals such as Employee Relations, The Sociological Review, and Innovations in Higher Education Teaching and Learning.
